Must do travel places near to Bali

When you are spending your holiday in Bali, you really must visit all the beautiful surrounding islands. Bali is surrounded by small islands that each has its own specific entertainment and must-see. Let’s provide you with a few amazing travel ideas. Even more reason to visit Bali!

  1. One of the direct islands at the south of Bali is Nusa Ceningan. Nusa Ceningan is very small and is even accessible by a connecting bridge. The locals are very much involved in seaweed farming and you certainly want to see them harvest the seaweed during your visit. The island also has a beautiful scenery called Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is absolutely breathtaking and guarantees you the perfect Instagram picture. Mahana Point is a definite must-see. You can get a drink at a bar at the top and enjoy the exceptional view but you can, as many others do, jump off the cliff into the deep waters.
  2. At the west of Bali, there is Komodo Island. Obvious from the name, Komodo Island is a home to many komodo dragons, known as the world’s largest lizards. Most of the island belongs to the Komodo National Park, creating a save place for the local wildlife and their habitats. Besides the komodo dragons, the island is also very popular for scuba diving.
  3. Just at the south of Bali is Nusa Penida, the largest of the Nusa Islands. Nusa Penida has a less touristy vibe than Bali. Crystal Bay is great for snorkeling; therefore it is one of the busier beaches of Nusa Penida. If you are looking for less crowded spots you could plan a walk to the limestone caves of Goa Giri Putri or go bird watching in the Tembeling Forest.
  4. The third and last of the Nusa islands is Nusa Lembongan. Nusa Lembongan is a destination with a breathtaking scenery without a lot of tourists. A favorite for surfers and travelers is Jungut Batu beach; also the busier beach of Nusa Lembongan. When looking for more privacy, travel to the south of the island, to places like Devil’s tear, for an amazing view over the water. Nusa Lembongan is also home to the impressive Hindu Puncak Sari Temple.

bali villas r us blogBali and its surrounding islands are extraordinary and there is just too much to see. The ferry fees are very cheap and you are able to see the islands in one day, since they only lie minutes apart.

Of course, there is more to see and we really advice you to take the most time possible to just travel the islands and see the true beauty of Indonesia.
